He claimed he is eager to reunite with estranged wife Maria Shriver.
But that looked like the furthest thing from Arnold Schwarzenegger's mind as he wined and dined his new girlfriend in Beverly Hills on Saturday night.
The multimillionaire treated physical therapist Heather Milligan to meal at the posh Spago Restaurant in the well-heeled area.
One of the finest eateries in the whole of Los Angeles, it is operated by his fellow Austrian and acclaimed chef Wolfgang Puck.
Of course given he is worth an estimated $300m, it is unlikely the Hercules In New York favorite will have been too worried at the menu's hefty price tags.
The 65-year-old was looking a bit of a girlie man in a flamboyant ensemble of blue blazer, white open-necked shirt and peach trousers.
But he is still a tough guy when he needs to be, rushing past an adoring fan as he made his way into the restaurant.
It seems the Junior favourite may finally be moving on from his relationship with his wife.
Maria, 56, filed for divorce in July 2011 after discovering he fathered a child with the family maid, though it has yet to be finalised.
The former Republican governor of California, previously said he does see them getting back 'together eventually. It takes a lot of time to heal those wounds and to trust each other again. But, you know, I will make every effort.
