ACTOR Charlie Sheen is reportedly being investigated by police for an alleged knife attack in a dental surgery while he was high on cocaine.
The Anger Management star was at a dentist appointment in Los Angeles last Thursday being treated for an abscess where the alleged incident occurred, TMZ reports.
According to law enforcement officials, TMZ reports that Sheen reacted badly when a dental nurse placed a mask on him to give him nitrous oxide before a dental procedure.
Sheen allegedly struck the nurse who walked out of the room.
Sheen’s dentist was also in the room who allegedly told her that he allegedly threatened him with a knife.
The dentist was not hurt.
The nurse also allegedly told police that Sheen’s bodyguard told the dentist that he was “high on rock cocaine”, TMZ reports.
While no charges have been laid, TMZ also reports the LA Police Department is investigating the matter.
The alleged incident comes after star suffered a facial injury that forced him to get stitches and put filming for his Anger Management show on hold, according to Fox News.
“Charlie was playing with one of his dogs in the pool and he accidentally dove into the shallow end, thinking it was much deeper and cut his nose,” his publicist said.
“He was taken to the doctor and got stitches. He was out of work for about a week, but was back on Monday morning.”
