Kate's St. Patrick's Day duds KO weak-kneed soldier
Members of the royal family have attended the parade by 1st Battalion Irish Guards for more than 100 years

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, may be used to being called a "knockout," but people don't usually mean it in the literal sense.

This morning, the British beauty's dark-green ensemble for St. Patrick's Day took its toll on one Royal Guard member, who fell backward, as if punched by an invisible Lennox Lewis.

"Kate Middleton is so pretty a solider fainted," tweeted @CRM_Stephen, whose spelling lapse might also be triggered by Kate-exposure.

The Daily Mail has photos of the full St. Paddy's Day festivities, including shots of Kate meeting with the Irish Guard, pinning a clover on a dog and sipping sherry.

Bowled over: The event was too overwhelming for one young guardsman who passed out in his formal uniform during the Irish Guards' parade

Could someone be attractive enough to knock you out?
