KSU student Alan Morales-Hernandez killed in Cobb County Crash

MARIETTA, GA - The Georgia State Patrol say a Kennesaw State University student is dead after crashing his vehicle into another vehicle early Tuesday morning.

According to the incident report, The accident occured on South Cobb Drive in Marietta. Alan J. Morales-Hernandez, 28, of Marietta, was driving a Toyota Corolla when he crashed into a Jeep being driven by Phillip Sangster, 27, of Atlanta shortly after 8 a.m., Cobb police spokeswoman Alicia Chilton said. Morales-Hernandez was transport to Kennestone Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Sangster sustained non life-threatening injuries and is expected to be okay.

The crash is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cobb County Police at 770-499-3987.

Morales-Hernandez was an architecture major, according to a KSU announcement.
