Firefighters: 10 children, 3 adults injured in wreck involving daycare bus

PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities say three adults and ten children were injured after a school bus crashed into a pick-up truck carrying two people Friday morning.

The wreck happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Nathan Dean Boulevard and Merchants Drive in Dallas. The children were transported to Wellstar Paulding hospital in nearby Hiram and are listed in stable condition. The three adults were taken to Kennestone Hospital in Marietta and are being treated for serious injuries.

Two people were inside the truck while 10 children and the driver were inside the daycare bus.

The daycare bus is from Paulding Preparatory Academy.

Georgia State Patrol troopers and Dallas police are working to determine what caused the crash.

The pick-up truck involved has Lee's Tree Service on the side
