- Gwinnett Police have arrested one of three suspects in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old Saturday evening

Terrance Thornton, 17, was arrested late Sunday afternoon and charged with murder and armed robbery in the killing of 19-year-old Jacquorrius Madison in a homicide investigators believe was drug-related.

Police said officers responded to a 911 call shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday. The initial caller said a group of teens were fighting at the pool and tennis court area off of Grove Lake Street, when someone got shot.

When officers arrived at the scene, Madison had already been transported to a nearby hospital by EMTs where he died from his injuries.

Investigators say they are still searching for two other unnamed persons of interest after interviewing a number of witnesses.
