Marietta student Elmire Sadykhove charged with bringing weapons to school

- Police say a high school student has been arrested for bringing weapons to school.

According to the arrest report, Elmire Sadykhove, a student at Lassiter High School in Marietta is accused of taking an eight and a half inch knife as well as a stun gun to school.

School administrators say last month they searched Sadykhove's car following a tip and found the knife. The also found a stun gun in her backpack

Sadykhove was arrested and booked into the Cobb County Jail facing carrying weapons in a school zone charges.

She has since been released.
