3, including infant, killed in Hall County crash

GAINESVILLE, Ga – Three people, including an infant were killed Tuesday afternoon in a Hall County crash.

A spokesperson with the Hall County Sheriff's Office said the accident involved two cars and occurred on Friendship Road near the intersection of North Bogan.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, 23-year-old Hannah Simmons was driving a white Subaru Legacy on Georgia Highway 347 when she lost control of the vehicle, hit a concrete curb before coming to a stop in the path of a white Ford F-350 truck, driven by 61-year-old Dana Collins.

Simmons died in the crash, according to authorities. The passenger, 28-year-old Lauren Buteau also died due to injuries from the crash, along with Simmons' daughter, infant A'Lannah Hopkins, who police say was a backseat passenger.

No word on whether Collins suffered any injuries.
