Police arrest Jamel Harris, Jakerius Henry after woman killed while trying to buy cell phone
42 year-old Jamel Harris and 17 year-old Jakerius Henry were arrested

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga.  - DeKalb County police say the suspects responsible for ambushing a couple who went to buy cell phone they'd found for sale online, killing the woman have been arrested.

Police said Luz Velequez, 40, and her husband, 40, were ambushed last Friday night at the Woodcrest Village Apartments along Woodcrest Walk in DeKalb County.

Three people are in custody after a woman was shot and killed during a robbery in Lithonia Friday night when she and her husband went to buy a cell phone they'd found for sale online.

Jamel Harris, 42, and Jakerius Henry, 17, were arrested and are currently jailed without bond. A juvenile was also taken into custody.

Police said the couple went to the apartment complex to complete the purchase. When they arrived, the husband became suspicious. That's when the suspects demanded his and his wife's cell phone before shooting them.
