UNADILLA, Ga. -- Prison officials say a correctional officer who tried to smuggle marijuana into the prison where she worked was arrested.
Tiffany King, a Correctional Officer at Dooly State Prison was arrested on Sunday after a strong odor of marijuana was detected as she attempted to enter the prison facility.
When confronted by her co-workers, she refused to be searched and instead requested to speak with the deputy warden in private.
During that meeting, King reportedly “pulled out a small camouflage wrap tape of marijuana,” the release said.
King was charged with violating oath and crossing guard lines with contraband.
