You can't envy Dolph Timmerman's luck when it comes to school. First, he's a former high-school classmate of "The Simpsons" creator Matt Groening and the inspiration for one of the show's pack of bullies: Dolph, "the slouching schoolyard bully who tortures Bart," according to the New York Post.
Today, thanks to the just-released and somewhat controversial rankings of New York City public-school teachers, he's also been named as being in the bottom one percent of all city math teachers and the bottom 12 percent of English teachers.
Timmerman, who teaches elementary school, declined to discuss the report with the Post.
For his part, Groening has said that Timmerman was, in fact, "a really cool guy."
