Starbucks and Microsoft team up for new coffee service

The new Starbucks add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2013 and 2016 has been released this Wednesday. The plugin allows users to set up meetings at any of Starbucks’ locations via Outlook, and buy and sell gift cards for Starbucks through the mail application.

In a blog post announcing the new feature, Microsoft wrote that “Being successful at business is all about building strong relationships and personal connections,”

“Often, these connections are made face-to-face in an informal, friendly environment, over a cup of coffee.”

The add-in is available for free on Microsoft’s website, but it is not yet available for Mac users or Outlook Mobile. Although Microsoft has said that they are working on getting the add-in on both platforms in the coming months.
