Brutal DOOM multiplayer trailer revealed
SCI-FI shooter DOOM just dropped a brand-new trailer showcasing the games magnificent multiplayer mode which PS4 and Xbox One fans will go crazy for.

Bethesda have released a brand-new trailer for upcoming sci-fi shooter DOOM showcasing the games brutal, fast-paced multiplayer mode.

This will be the first time a DOOM game has been released since 2004 and, like most games in the series, Bethesda has said that it will feature "Relentless demons, massive guns, and fast, fluid movement."

And based on the new trailer, which you can watch above, they certainly weren’t lying.

The lightening quick 76 seconds of trailer is jam-packed with shotgun blasts, all powerful demons and vicious bone-crunching finishers.

In addition, the announced plans for the games multiplayer Beta, which will take place March 31 to April 3 for all PS4, Xbox One and PC gamers.

According to the games website: "Fans will have the opportunity to play the brutally fun and challenging shooter weeks before its release.

"The Beta is expected to feature two maps, Heatwave and Infernal, and two modes, Team Deathmatch and Warpath, along with never-before-seen weapons, armour sets, taunts and hack modules."

This multiplayer beta will be available exclusively to those of you who bought or pre-ordered Wolfenstein: The New Order.

It's also mentioned that the games unique Snapmap feature (essentially allowing you to create your own multiplay maps) won't be part of the multiplayer Beta.

Just in case you didn't already know, ID Software's new DOOM game is now available to pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One.

However if you have the luxury of picking which console to opt for, Microsoft might have made your decision that little bit easier.

Right now, anyone who Pre-orders the new DOOM on the Xbox Store will be gifted the original Doom and Doom 2 for free.

This offer will only be available for a limited time and unfortunately the Xbox Store doesn't specify how long the promotion will last for so you're better buying it sooner rather than later.

Codes for both Doom and Doom 2 will be mailed out within ten days of purchase.

Both games are currently available on the Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 and are among the backward compatible titles on Xbox One.

Equally you're only saving yourself the better part of $9.99 if you were to download the games right now on.

But still, free games are free games regardless of the cost.

And you couldn't ask for anything better than two true classics of the gaming world.
