Xbox One Slim details leaked online

A newer, sleeker version of the Xbox has been leaked online less than 24 hours before Microsoft is due to announce it. The details of a slimmed-down Xbox One console have been revealed online ahead Microsoft’s scheduled unveiling at the E3 games show in Los Angeles.

The new version is almost half the size of the current Xbox One and is believed to be called Xbox One Slim – or Xbox One S.

The leak appeared on video game forum site, NeoGAF less than 24 hours before Microsoft’s Xbox Conference. It contained an image of the white console as well as some specifications. It’s believed to have a huge 2TB internal hard drive and support a 4K resolution. It will also include a vertical stand – meaning it can rest alongside your TV rather than under it.

Microsoft has yet to make any public comments on the leak, but we’ll know for sure when they make their keynote E3 address at 14.30 EST on Monday, June 13.
