WARNING: Spoilers ahead (obvs).
The seventh season of Game Of Thrones will air later than the last one.
While we can usually expect the show to hit our screens in April, we could be waiting until autumn next year for the next series.
MOTHER OF DRAGONS: It seems it'll take Dany AGES to get to Westeros
We can't tell what's more upsetting, this or the Red Wedding.
Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have announced that this is all down to the weather.
"We don’t have an air date yet, but this year will probably be a little bit later," they said.

"We’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season 'Winter is here' – and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes any more.
"So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot."
At the end of the last episode Sansa Stark remarked to her brother/cousin Jon Snow that winter had finally arrived.

Apparently, the new season will not only arrive later than usual but it will also be much shorter.
The bosses recently confirmed that there are only 13 episodes left.
Time to binge watch seasons one to six then...
