The Yukon Health and Social Services agency has since removed their "We all need the D" campaign from its website after the internet had a little too much fun with it.

A Canadian health agency had some 'splainin' to do recently when a few posters promoting the health benefits of Vitamin D raised more than a few eyebrows.

The Yukon Health and Social Services agency said it knew what it was doing when it appropriated a crude slang expression for its campaign, "We all need the D. Even me!"

A spokesperson for the agency told Yukon News that they knew the expression was an innuendo for sex, but that it didn't anticipate the negative backlash it received online.

The internet, being the internet, had a little fun with the posters, which have since been taken down from the agency's website.
