TWO gay dads whose photo of themselves doing their daughters’ hair went viral have detailed their lifestyle in a new Nikon ad.

Kordale Lewis and his fiance Kaleb, from Atlanta, Georgia, appear in the commercial alongside their three children, Desmiray, 8, Malia, 7, and Kordale Jr, 6.

In the ad they let the cameras into their home to show how ‘normal’ their day-to-day life is.

“We just want people to know that, hey, we’re normal, and you can’t judge people on their normal, you really can’t,” Lewis says.

The couple posted their picture to Instagram a year ago and it quickly started being reshared.

While some commented that the couple could be good parents because of their sexuality or their race, the couple says they simply try and provide love for their children.

We definitely have a new family portrait to put on the wall! #LostFile

“Those kids have our hearts and I can’t sit here and explain to you in words why we feel the way that we feel for our children. But those are our kids and nobody else can tell me anything different,” they said. “Being fathers is getting our daughters up at 5.30am making breakfast getting them dressed for school and putting them on the bus by 6.30.”

The video has already been shared thousands of time since it was released this week.
