WALTON COUNTY, Ga. -- A traffic stop led to a foot chase in Walton County early Monday morning.

A sheriff's deputy attempted to make a traffic stop after spotting a vehicle with no tail lights. Deputies said the car fled, reaching speeds of 118 mph. When the car came to a stop, two people in the car, identified as Anastaisa Williams and Kevin Solomon, exited the vehicle and ran away, deputies said. One person was located on McDaniel Street and arrested.

Both suspects were taken to Walton county jail with multiple charges including possession of stolen handgun.
