Freezing temperatures are on the way tonight across the north Georgia mountains. A Freeze Warning has been from midnight to 9 am for Rabun, Towns, Union, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens, Dawson, Lumpkin and White county.

The rest of north Georgia will avoid a freeze but lows Tuesday morning will bottom out in the mid to upper 30's.

By Tuesday afternoon a nice recovery is in store with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. The normal high this time of year is 73.

Look for highs to continue to warm to near 80 by Wednesday, and then a bit cooler Thursday and Friday as a weak cold front slips through. The next chance of rain will hold off until Sunday and Monday.
