Sheriff's deputies arrested an Evans, Ga. woman after she met a deputy she believed was a child for sexual purposes.

According to the Lincoln County sheriff's office, Jasmin Nicole Jones, 28, is charged with obscene internet contact with a child under the Computer or Electronic Pornography and Child Prevention law.

Authorities say Jones was communicating with an undercover investigator posing as a 14-year-old and engaged in explicit verbal, sexual conduct. She was arrested after meeting up with the deputy, who she believed was a child.

Jones is being held at the Lincoln County Detention Facility awaiting a bond hearing.
