There's one thing Chrissy Teigen was truly thankful for the morning after her barely there gown malfunctioned on the red carpet at the American Music Awards.
And that was the laser hair removal specialist she'd visited before the event.
The model, 30, posted a montage of professionals snaps of her at the event to her Instagram Monday and added: '#AMAs! love you so so so much.... (apologies to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha) dress is #yousefakbar and shoes are @dsquared2 and laser hair removal is @sevlaseraesthetics.'Her social media followers immediately applauded her ability to poke fun at herself.
'She gives cred to her laser hair removal person. Hahahaha,' one wrote.
Another commented: 'and laser hair removal is by....' omg I love her haha.'
Chrissy, who was at the AMAs Sunday night in LA to introduce a performance by her husband John Legend, had donned a very revealing black dress and wasn't wearing any underwear- and was completely bare of any body hair.
But the flimsy ensemble revealed a little more than intended as the front of her dress flashed open.

On Monday, the model issued an apology via social media, saying she was sorry to 'anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha' and thanking her laser hair removal specialist

Over exposed: The gown that was slit in to almost to the bust on either side had its work cut out to keep the model covered in the most important of places
Chrissy's risque gown featured a deep slit that rose all the way up to her torso on each side and was held together by safety pins.
Once she realized she had her work cut out to protect her modesty, she tried to us her hands to prevent further exposure.
And even recruited a little help from her musician hubby.

Aid: Hubby John Legend tried to move in to lend a helping hand

Giggled: The celebrity couple, though, seemed nonplussed by the red carpet debacle
The Sports Illustrated Swimwear beauty finished off her outfit with black and gold strappy heels that she tied around her ankles, several chunky gold bangles and multiple rings.
Her caramel colored hair was sleekly styled with sleek a deep side part.
She added mauve lined lips and rosy blush on her cheeks.

Gorgeous couple: Her musician husband coordinated with his stunning wife looking dapper in black trousers with a matching button-up

John added a patterned grey and black blazer to round out his handsome look.
The Grammy Award winning artist was up for Collaboration Of The Year for the song Like I'm Gonna Lose You with Meghan Trainor.

To John: Chrissy stepped on stage to introduce her husband before his performance of his hit tune Love Me Now

Loving wife: The TV personality said in her sweet speech: 'So this next performer is a brilliant musician and a wonderful father, who makes a pretty d**n good breakfast sandwich'
Chrissy stepped on the AMA stage to introduce her husband - who was slated to perform his hit tune Love Me Now.
The TV personality kicked off her sweet speech about John with: 'So this next performer is a brilliant musician and a wonderful father, who makes a pretty d**n good breakfast sandwich.'
The brunette jokingly added: 'And he has been known to write love songs about me. What can I say? I'm very inspiring.'

Hitting all the high notes: John Legend performed his song Love Me Now at the AMAs
CHRISSY'S 'HOOHA' BIKINI 'BRAZILIAN' LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Chrissy Teigen thanked her laser hair removal salon, SEV Laser Aesthetics, for her china smooth 'hooha.' The salon has three locations in Los Angeles. The Bikini 'Brazilian,' which removes all hair from the nether regions, including the vagina, and the butt and the area around the butt hole, is the procedure Chrissy got before the AMAs.
Each session only takes a few minutes, but it must be done four to eight times, depending on the amount of hair. 'Chrissy is not a very hairy person,' said owner Sevana Petrosian, 38, who oversaw Chrissy's treatments, which, by California law, are performed by a registered nurse.
Each treatment is separated out by four to eight weeks. The result should be semi-permanent hair removal - although hormonal fluctuations due to pregnancy, menopause or other changes can cause more hair to grow in.
Whether the treatments are painful depends on the person, but numbing cream can be used. Petrosian says most customers opt not to use it.
'People who are virgins to this think it's scary, but once you do it once, you're addicted,' she says. 'It's a lot less painful than waxing.'
The procedure not only gets rid of hair, but razor bumps and scarring.
Some women who are 'shy' might need their legs forcefully pried open by the nurse, otherwise the client will spread-eagle on the table with legs in the air. For the butt, the customer usually gets on all fours. 'You have to really get in there and get everything,' says Petrosian.
Treatments are $50 for each session.
As for Chrissy's shout-out on Instagram, Petrosian said she was surprised.
'They are just the perfect couple,' Petrosian says of Chrissy and husband John Legend, who accompanied the model to the salon for her sessions.
'He comes for emotional support,' she jokes.
Chrissy further gushed about John, 37, before slipping in a thought about the presidential election.
She said: 'But his songs are bigger than either of us. And on the heels on what's been a really interesting f***ed up, f***ing election for all of us, I think we could all use a little love tonight.'
She concluded her introduction with: 'Performing his new single, Love Me Now, please welcome the love of my life - John Legend.'
Chrissy and John, who welcomed their daughter Luna in April, first met in 2007 while on the set of his Stereo music video. They tied the knot in September 2013 in Lake Como, Italy.

Looking good: The award winning artist hit the stage in a ripped white jeans with a matching top, adding a gold hued bomber jacket

Sweet kisses: While he sang, images of himself, Chrissy and daughter Luna appeared behind him on the big screen
