Tegan George (left) and her friends Sally (centre) and Clare (right) say they were subject to disgusting sexual slurs from the men sitting behind them (pictured) for 'hours' as they tried to watch Sunday's Pacquiao v Horn boxing match

A television reporter filmed a man she claims spent 'hours' hurling abuse at her and her female friends during Sunday's Pacquiao v Horn boxing match.

Tegan George filmed a man sitting slumped in his seat at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium who was holding up his middle finger at her camera.

In the clip, he is heard telling her 'come on b****, f*** off away from me', as she filmed him.

Tegan questioned if he spoke to all women in that tone, and quickly received the response: 'no, only c***s like you'.

'Never have I or my sports loving girl friends been so badly abused & sexually harassed. Went on for hours,' she captioned the short clip, uploaded on Twitter.

Sally, who was sitting with the reporter at the match, told Daily Mail Australia she and her friends regularly attend sporting matches, and had initially tried to be 'good sports' about the heckling - even taking a photo with the men in the background.

But as the women continued to listen to the obscene sexual slurs and general abuse, they soon failed to see the humour in it.

'They were intentionally tipping drinks on us and yelling "what does it take to get c***s like this wet",' she said.

'What happened today totally crossed the line and left Tegan and myself upset. I guess it just comes down to people not understanding where there is a line.'

'Women should be able to go out and enjoy a sporting match without being subject to sexual harassment.'

The man Sally says was responsible for the most vile slurs was videoed giving the women the finger and calling them c***s

The man reportedly spent hours hurling sexual slurs at the women while they tried to enjoy the boxing match

She said one of the most disappointing things was watching those around them listen to the abuse being hurled at the trio and not do anything about it.

Sally explained they had people sitting on either side of them and in front of them, who did not intervene or stand up for the group.

'Everybody sat around and didn't do anything about it,' she said.

After Tegan filmed the short clip of the man, Sally stood up and went to approach a nearby police officer, who had witnessed the uncomfortable situation.

'We'd left it as long as we could,' she said. 'We didn't engage'.

The men were immediately asked to leave, but Sally claims they never understood why.

She explained as the men were leaving, they were yelling about how they would be demanding a refund from Suncorp Stadium.
