Little boy destroys $15,000 Lego sculpture that artist stayed up three days building for art exhibition

A youngster completely ignored the "no touching" sign at this lego convention when he decided to pose for a picture with a statue depicting a character from the film zootopia

The Lego statue took three days to build and cost a whopping $15,000 and was on display at the Chinese Lego expo until the four-year-old boy got his hands on it.

A picture shows the destruction that quickly followed, causing a social media sensation.

Users on Twitter shared the #ManSpends3DaysAndNightsBuildingBlocks hashtag, responding to reports of the Lego tragedy.

The naughty kid apologised and his embarrased parents offered to pay for the damage.

But the creator, Mr Zhao said the boy wasn't to blame and refused to accept any compensation.

"The child did not intend to break it", he told reporters.

PAINSTAKING: Three days of hard work was destroyed in an instant
