The Sinabung volcano on Indonesian island Sumatra exploded twice in on Friday, the latest in a spate of blasts after lying dormant for 400 years.
Ash clouds were captured on camera billowing into the sky today, along with red hot lava spewing from the tip of the volcano,
The 8000 ft volcano has been under a high risk warning since 2010, but officials fear the blasts are becoming bigger and more frequent.
The country is on the Pacific "Ring of Fire" which is an arc of volcanoes and fault lines encircling the Pacific Basin, one of the most seismic regions on the planet.
