Gabi Garcia is taking the UFC world by storm

A HUGE woman is set to dominate the world of mixed martial arts after an astonishing rise following her debut.

Gabi Garcia, 30, is the protege of UFC legend Anderson Silva and only launched her career last year.

Despite this, the Brazilian, who is more than 6ft tall and weighs over 238 pounds, has been undefeated in her last three fights.

Before the nine-time Jiu Jitsu world champ had her first professional bout, Silva told TMZ: "(She’s a) big girl (with a) big heart.

"(She’s) strong, fast, smart. I think Gabi has a great chance to be the best fighter in Japan. I think Gabi is the new generation for MMA fighters."

But her humungous build has led people to accuse her of taking performance enhancing drugs.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan said Garcia was “clearly taking male hormones” on his podcast, arguing it blurred the lines of gender in sport.

He said: "Where does that fit in? Because if you’re fighting against women — and you’re fighting against women who are taking nothing but you’re taking male hormones — where is this line? Is it penis-vagina, is that the only line? Or is there a certain amount of hormones you take where you become a f***ing dude?"

Garcia has come up positive for a banned substance once at the 2013 IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Championships.

However, this was found to be the fertility drug Clomiphene and she avoided a suspension after officials found she was not at fault.

And despite a slanging match with UFC star Ronda Rousey – when Rousey said she could easily take her on – the two will never square off in the ring because of Garcia's bigger weight class.

But if they could both be persuaded to, wouldn't that be the fight of the century?
