Funeral arrangements were set for Wednesday for former Penn State head coach Joe Paterno, who died Sunday "an old sorcerer in exile on his own island," like Shakespeare's Prospero, wrote SBNation's Spencer Hall.

The 85-year-old Paterno was fired in October amid outcry that he didn't do enough to stop alleged child molester Jerry Sandusky, a former Penn State assistant coach.

Paterno's family has scheduled three days of public memorial events, including a public viewing. Not surprisingly, the odious Westboro Baptist Church is expected to picket the funeral.
