Tom Brady

Innocuous, obnoxious or just foolish? New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady told a group of 25,000 Patriots fans at a Gillette Stadium pep rally that he hoped to win the Super Bowl "so we'll have a lot more people at our party next weekend."

The typically restrained New York media responded with a giant "What party?" The New York Post's Steve Serby called it a "Super Diss," and promised that New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin would make "bulletin board material" out of it.

This is Brady's fifth Super Bowl, so he probably knows what he's getting into, unless all that time on Rodeo Drive with Gisele is going to his head.

Did Brady cross the line?
