Is it fair for Mamadou Ndiaye to play in high school?

Meet Mamadou Ndiaye. He's a 7-foot-5-inch basketball player in Huntington Beach, California, who happens to be only 17 years old.

Watch as he makes a mockery of high school basketball, and why shouldn't he? He's two inches taller than anyone currently playing in the NBA.

The Chinese-food-loving Ndiaye is from Senegal, and he emigrated to the U.S. when a foster family paid to remove the pituitary gland that was driving his growth, because it was also robbing him of his sight.

He can certainly see the basket now, but maybe not the impish players below him.

It is unclear whether Ndiaye is related to former NBA center Mamadou N'Diaye, another 7-foot tall Senegalese player, but if he's not, it would be a coincidence of epic proportions.
