SAN FRANCISCO, CA - SEPTEMBER 9: Apple CEO Tim Cook speaks speaks about the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus during a Special Event at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium September 9, 2015 in San Francisco, California. Apple Inc. unveiled latest iterations of its smart

The new iPhone6s and 6sPlus will soon be launched, and if you're considering upgrading there are a few things you will need to know.

The phone, which will be released on Friday, is already sold out on Apple's U.S. and Chinese websites, The Street reported.

But the company said that they would be available for walk-in customers Friday starting at 8 a.m. local time. While the company said there would be phones available, representatives are suggesting that buyers arrive early.  There's no need, however, if you already pre-ordered either the 6s or the 6sPlus starting on Sept. 12.

Most carriers are offering deals for the new iPhone 6s and 6sPlus, including SprintT-Mobile and Verizon. Many companies, including Apple itself, will offer installment plans so customers don't have to pay the hundreds of dollars upfront, The Street reported.

Sprint is allowing customers to sign up for iPhone Forever. You pay normally $22 a month to lease the phone and will get a new phone every year.

The camera is state-of-the art, with some experts claiming that it is almost as good as the digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras used by professionals, BGR reported.

The camera is so good; a National Geographic photographer replaced his standard gear with one of the new phones for a recent China shoot.

So, will you be buying a new phone in the near future, or waiting until the next big thing comes along?
